The blue whale has the largest penis in the animal kingdom
If you’re a fan of nature documentaries, you’re probably inclined to wonder about absolutes. Which animal is the king of the jungle? Which spins the fastest? And, of course, which one has the biggest penis?
That honor goes to the blue whale, which seems fitting. Already the largest animal in the world at a whopping 330,000 pounds, 105 feet long (almost as long like a basketball court), and with a heart the size of a golf cart, the Blue Whale is, shall we say, proportional everywhere. According to roaring earththe average whale penis size is 8 to 10 feet long, making it the John Holmes of the sea. In fact, some have speculated that a whale penis on the surface has sometimes been mistaken with sea monsters.
If this guinness world recordAn organ-sized organ leads to a sense of inadequacy, there’s a caveat: the blue whale’s appendage has an average diameter of 12 inches.
For land animals, the elephant comes first, with a penis about 6 feet long.
Of course, these animals are massive to begin with. For true proportional penile prowess, the barnacle is king. These crustaceans can extend their penis up to eight times their body length.
If character is more intriguing than size, a number of other species do the trick. Alligators have erections that never go away; slugs have penises sticking out of their heads; bees, on the other hand, endure having their penises torn off after copulation.
