St David’s College students receive A-Level results
Students at ST David’s College achieved a 93% A*-C grade rate for all A-level qualifications, as they received their results yesterday (August 18).
The mathematics department at Independent Boarding and Day School in Llandudno achieved flawless results, with all students achieving A*-A.
Their science students continued to perform strongly with continued success in applied science BTEC grades, with over 88% Merit Distinction* grades and 63.6% Biology, Chemistry and physics from A* to A.
Outstanding performance came from Acca Law, which achieved A* in all areas with top marks in Biology, Chemistry and Mathematics.
Callum Frauchiger earned an A* in Biology and Design Technology and an A in Geography, while Jack Dolder earned an A in Mathematics and Chemistry and a B in Physics and was accepted into the highly competitive Naval Science course at the University. ‘University of Southampton.

Deanna Craven also excelled with an A grade in biology and math, with a B in English.
There were outstanding combined results at A level and BTEC, with Owain Evans achieving Distinction* in BTEC Sport and A grades in Biology, Maths and Physics.
Ellen Jones earned a Distinction* in Applied Science, a Merit in Business and Entrepreneurship BTEC and a B in English.
Tom Hughes has completed Honors* in Applied Science and Double Award in BTEC Sport and is bound for Cardiff MET to study Sport Science.
