Speaker: Thomas Day a step ahead of his time | Local News

According to Joseph B. Graves, who was a guest speaker at the Boston-Halifax County Museum of Fine Arts and History’s annual membership meeting held October 20.

Graves himself slept in a Thomas Day crib as a baby, and he now sleeps in a Thomas Day bed at his home on the farms in Brandon-on-the-Dan, Halifax County South West . His house contains a number of pieces of furniture built by Day and a large number of architectural elements associated with Day’s craftsmanship.
